I have two of these carts - this one and the predecessor to this one. The predecessor was larger - that is same width but deeper (back to front) and that makes a lot of different in what can be put in it. The older bag does not have the zippered compartment on the front - but I have found I do not use this zippered compartment. They are sturdy bags - the 3-wheels really do the trick in getting items up the stairs without breaking your back. I occasionally put larger boxes on the frame (that could not go inside the bag) using bungy cords and that works well too. All in all this cart was a lifesaver for me when I lived upstairs in an apartment building (without an elevator) and I'd have 10-12 bags from the local grocery store to get up the stairs - I could do it in 2 trips instead of 3 or 4 - and without strain or the heavy bag handles digging into my cars as I try to carry them. I bought the second cart and now I can do it in one trip - easy enough to wheel each cart with one hand. I have to leave one cart at the bottom of the stairs while I take the first cart up - then go down and get the cart left and take it up - but all in all - I can do it in one trip. This newer version of the cart has a place to slip in a closed umbrella on the left side which you can see in the picture (above the triple wheels).
Now I live in a house and park in the basement below, but I still occasionally use the carts to bring items up the basement stairs to the kitchen. I would rate the older larger bag a 5 star - this newer bag gets 3-4 stars due to the smaller size. But I have not found anything else that can make carrying heavy, multiple items up the stairs as easy as this cart. I am glad to have found them.

Although I first thought it seemed a bit flimsey, it has held up well and has been a great aid in hauling groceries and various items up 2 flights of long stairs. Strap on top a bit weak, and broke after only a few uses. I'll probably try to sew some sort of Velcro strap on someday, but overall it has been a great help to me.

I bought this bag about 3 years ago for grocery shopping, and it works well enough, except for 3 major flaws. First, the handle is far too short and you end up tripping over the bag as you wheel it behind you. Second, its not nearly as big as it looks and getting home with a lot of groceries is pretty much out of the question. Third, the pockets and other bits of the fabric are starting to fray and break.. the bag has not been used that heavily because of problems one and two, so make up your own mind, but I wouldn't recommend it.
